of Nerja is a short walk with its fascinating shops and wide
choice of excellent restaurants. Nerja is an attractive resort
nestled between the mountains and the sea, the famous palm
lined promende, the Balcon de Europa has magnificent clifftop
views of the surrounding coastline and is a favourite place
for an evening stroll.
The Nerja caves are well worth
a visit as are the moorish villages of Competa, Frigiliana
and Maro. The Ski resort of Sierra Nevada is just 2 hours
drive from Nerja.
